Silverton Colorado Recreational Options
Colorado is a recreational paradise and Golden Block Brewery and Restaurant in Silverton Colorado is located in the center of it all.
In Summer time we're the premier offroad destination in America. Located in the center of the famous Alpine Loop, Golden Block Brewery Restaurant in Silverton, Colorado is a perfect choice for after (and before) you hit the trails.
In the Winter we have amazing skiing, snowmobile, and hiking trails right out our front door. For beginning skiers, we have Kendall Mountain Recreation Center (which is shown in the image above.) Kendall Mountain is one of the best learning environments for new skiers that you'll find anywhere. With affordable pricing, rentals available on premises, and a fantastic ski school, This is a seriously affordable option for people looking to 'learn the basics' over a weekend. If you're looking for a 'big' resort experience, Purgatory, or Durango Mountain Resort, is located 20 scenic miles south of The Golden Block Brewery and Restaurant in Silverton along highway 550. For experts, Silverton Mountain is one of the most extreme powder experiences in the Country and only 6 or so miles up the road. But be warned, it is NOT for everyone. A quick look at their website will demonstrate that.
